INSPIRE. NURTURE. CARE.
Eclectically Yours! It's eclectic!

I plan to support at least 5 charities each year. This is my forum to spread the word.
Check out Charity Spotlight!
Do you have a favorite charity you want me to spotlight? Let me know.
Are you fundraising for a cause? I'm happy to "add" you to a walk and send some more funds to your organization.

The plan has been revised, but the ultimate goal is the same -- supporting as many charitable organizations as possible and helping others become aware. My foot is still a bit wonky, so I'm cutting back whenever needed.
Why not just give money?
To bring attention to causes and charities that might otherwise fly under the radar.

SerenityStar Recovery!
Whether you've been in recovery or know someone needing it, this is a worthwhile cause. If you make it to San Antonio or Smithville, TX, Comfort Cafe is a must! It's pay what you think is fair. It supports people in recovery and they are the most joyous bunch! The food is excellent and the portions are huge. Everything about it is fab!

World Food Programme!
This organization is pretty much always on my radar. They help all over the world including the U.S, We are not separate from the world and this program makes no distinction. I am so on board!
World Food Programme

I know there are many people in the world who are deserving and who can't navigate this world in the usual way for whatever reason. These organizations recognize that and are themselves deserving of attention. I also know that attention alone doesn't put money in their coffers. Action has to be taken and not just thought about.

It's the giving spirit -- when you have little and still give -- that blesses you most. It's easy to give when money is free flowing. It takes a leap of faith to give when "money's too tight to mention" (shout out to Simply Red!.
Come along with me and let's take that leap together!

Support local charitable organizations and non-profits. These are indeed your neighbors.
Speaking of neighbors, make friends (or at least acquaintances) with your actual neighbors. Giving doesn't have to cost you money.

Feeding America!
$10.00 isn't a lot, but it can feed someone's baby a meal or two. It can still buy eggs. It can still get bread into a belly. Wherever you live in America, Feeding America is helping your neighbors through your local food bank.

I cannot drive this point home enough -- we. are ONE!
No, we can't' help everybody all of the time. BUT, we can definitely help one person some of the time.
